Hi friends,

Thanks to all of you who kindly sent Season's greetings, and especially to Hal Norrish who actually sent me a personalised calendar for 2010 featuring some great shots taken at his Chilliwak flying field in Canada. I was delighted to find that Hal and his models appeared on one or two pages, like this shot of him and his C-130 Hercules that is featured on the page for November.

During the month I was asked if I had ever thought of running a section in modelflight similar to Recyclopedia, but where readers can air their gripes about suppliers/manufacturers, etc.? Well, whilst not thinking of a permanent and growing page of the nature of 'recyclopedia', I did once wonder about producing a 'Moans and Groans' page but decided that on a regular basis it would introduce something of a negative feel to modelflight and make me even more of a grumpy old man than I am meant to be at my age! All the same - as has been seen on one or two issues in the past year - I am always prepared to share readers' experiences of poor service or products, particularly where it could be of benefit to others in avoiding disappointment.

I take this opportunity of thanking you all for your interest and support of modelflight during yet another year of its production, with special thanks to all who have contributed anything at all to its pages. As I say to most new contacts when welcoming them to modelflight, your news, views, comments, pictures of your models and articles are always welcome.
