Hard on the heels of his novel propeller gauge seen on last month's modelflight, air space features a most ingenious device developed by Barrie Russell for faithfully copying propellers in wood. Barrie has written a detailed article on the construction and use of his propeller copying router which, though he thought some might think was an April Fool's jest, produces some truly beautiful results!

This is Clifford McIlwee's Messerschmitt Bf-110, built from a Gerry Fingger plan. Clifford originally went down the electric route, but later reverted to i.c. power and installed two four-stroke engines which, he says, sound great. Wouldn't be the same if it didn't make a decent noise, would it? See more on gallery.
