Issue 57
March 23, 2002

Hi Friends,

The responses to my query concerning the colour of the text on the left-hand black navigation frame gave rise to some interesting views, showing just how subjective this sort of topic really is! "Yellow on black, no thanks. Yellow on brown is better . . ."; "Yellow is fine, as is green"; "I too have trouble with red on black"; etc., etc. Well, I tried all the suggestions and my own favourite is green on black, so that's what we've now got!

I was away from home for one week of the two since the last issue appeared, so there hasn't been the same amount of time to attend to the preparation of this issue of ModelFlight. I'm sorry if it shows, but my new little grandson, William Timothy Packham, was the reason and - I have to say - well worth it as far as I am concerned! I'm showing him off on hotchpotch!

If you are viewing ModelFlight on a 15" or 17" monitor, you might find it a bit more pleasing to switch off some of the toolbars at the top of your browser window, so that you can make better use of your available screen space. From the View menu, go to Toolbars and de-select Standard Buttons and Address Bar and see the difference! Don't forget you can also alter the text size as it appears in your browser - again, from the View menu go to Text Size and select from the options to increase or decrease the size.

Regards to all,
