. . . and that's what this page is
all about. Tell us about anything else at all of general interest and
amusement - as long as it's decent and inoffensive!
Share something of your other
interests and hobbies or those of your family, be they amateur
dramatics, arts and crafts, gardening, horse-riding, model railways, pets,
photography or
whatever. Let's see the new baby, hear about your kids, your spouse,
partner or girl/boy friend and their
achievements, the new house, etc., etc. From Academic to
Zany, it's all
welcome on this page (subject to the discretion of the editor)! |

On
this page of #51, I put up a couple of pictures sent to me from the
Czech Republic and which I attributed to Obec Klenci. I actually
did think the building featured here looked rather similar to one I had
previously seen in a communication from Zdenek Drbal, but as the
e-mail was not in English and had come from an unfamiliar e-mail
address, I assumed it had come from a different source. I was wrong! It
did, in fact, come from Zdenek and Obec Klenci was the location of the
picture (Klenci Town Hall) and not the sender's name! Sorry, Zdenek -
thanks for the picture and it was nice to be in touch once more.
Also referred to in Zdenek's item last time was a
URL for an anti-virus detection and repair program (AVG), which I passed
on for the benefit of others who might be reading ModelFlight
from Zdenek's part of the world. Barry Slater has now kindly been
in touch to point out that full details in English on this AVG software
can be found at www.grisoft.com -
Barry says the program is free, unobtrusive and effective. |

Two brilliant
pictures from Norm Kirton in Western Australia- click these thumbnails to
enjoy them to the full!
The picture on the right is one of those that
leaves you longing for more information - details of that little toddler
and his intriguing bike, what is actually going on, etc., etc! |

| . . . and
another nice one from Norm . . .
"As Virgin are making inroads into
the Australian Airline industry since Ansett's collapse late last year
they are currently offering fares as low as AUS$5 for flights from
Melbourne to 5 major city destinations (Sydney, Adelaide, Canberra,
Hobart and Brisbane but not Perth).
Today I received an amusing pic regarding a new airline in opposition to
Virgin. Thought you might like it, it tickled my fancy."
