THIS is the page for
aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at
a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!
If you're not into digital photography or
scanning pictures, why not send some photos by regular mail? It's not too
pricey; a batch of five or
six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My address is on
the home
page. |

Kevin
Routledge's magnificent Tiger Moth
This beautiful model is the DH82a
Tiger Moth built by Kevin from a Duncan Hutson Mk 2 kit costing
£399. It is powered by a Laser 150 engine and there is a good
review of the model by Kevin in the Reviews section of rcportal.co.uk
website that is featured on site seeing.
There's no mention of the scale of this model, though - I'm guessing
it's around 1:5 or maybe even bigger? |

Two from Test Valley Model
Flying Club, UK |
|

Colin Grace turned up at the
field on 15th December with this really
rather lovely P51-D Mustang. It's an ARTF from World Models,
enhanced with an OS 70 4-stroke, servo-driven retracts and a nice-looking
3-bladed prop. Colin says the quality of the kit is excellent
- it certainly looks good both on the ground and in the air. |
|

Here's Chris Haines' Staudacher
S-300 GS which has been appearing on work in
progress but is now ready for its test flight at the Test Valley MFC
field. The model is fitted with an SC ·91 4-stroke engine and
looks and sounds a powerful beast!

This is Tony Baker's new
1/3rd scale Discus glider. Tony flies with
Southampton Soaring Society and it is models of this nature that are the
subject of the 'Soaring costs' item on air space.

Top
left - Enjoy
the intricate detail on this scale model of a Beech Debonaire.
This is one of two identical models scratch built by Karl Gross (owner
of Skycraft Hobbies in Burlington).
Top right - I
could find no credits for this lovely picture of a model float plane on
the shore of Lake Ontario.
Bottom left - A nice
little CO2 powered model (our first-ever on ModelFlight), built by Norm Harris. The
model has a
28" wingspan and is suitable for round-the-pole or can be set up to
be a free-flighter.
Bottom right - Wayne
Bransfield's stunning 4-engined Sunderland, weighing in at 55
lbs!

electric, rubber, i/c or gas turbine, r/c or free flight, it matters not - and they
don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!
