Hi friends,

First of all, a thousand thanks to all who have sent me Christmas and New Year greetings, which I have very much appreciated. Quite a few of you have made specific reference to just how much you enjoy each fortnightly issue of ModelFlight and that is really gratifying  - one friend, who I suspect would prefer to remain anonymous, really surprised me with a very nice dedicated and personalised Christmas card together with a lovely letter, all sent through the good old traditional Christmas post in an envelope carrying the ModelFlight logo! Those go into my personal archive - not the web-based one!

Speaking of which (i.e., the ModelFlight archive), I regret that server problems prevented me from archiving issues 48 (which I thought I had already finished, but hadn't!), 49 and 50. My usual practice is to put the current issue up on the archive server immediately prior to up-loading the next, but when I went to put up #49, I found the server inaccessible. That meant that some links to the archive on the last issue were not working andf for the moment, issues 48 - 50 are not up on the archive. Our good friend Gary Clemans-Gibbon of www.angryrhino.net  who hosts the archive on his server is working on the problem and I hope it will not be long before it is complete once more.

I take this opportunity of wishing you all a very happy New Year. I hope you will continue to visit and enjoy this site and I very much look forward to your contributions.

Regards to all,

This is Harold Clark's absolutely beautiful 1/5th scale P51D Mustang "Old Boy" from the Top Flite kit.  Click the mini-pic on the left to return to the cover screen or the thumbnail on the right to see an unobscured view of the shot. See it again on photo gallery, together with some details.
