THIS is the page for
aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at
a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!
If you're not into digital photography or
scanning pictures, why not send some photos by regular mail? It's not too
pricey; a batch of five or
six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My address is on
the home
page. |

Hi:
Thought I would send you a picture from what must be the world's
northernmost Model Flying Club, shot on the 17th of November. The name of
the club is Hammerfest og Omegn Modellflyklubb, and the
"flying field" is located near the road out to the North
Cape. Check the map for Hammerfest, and you'll see what I mean. Yes, the
pic was taken in the middle of the day - this is as much daylight as they
get during winter...
The guy is warming up his Flair Cessna Bird Dog ARTF, equipped with
OS70FS
and Jay Dee aluminium skis - (all purchased from me.)
Best regards

These two shots
are of models belonging to members of Fleet Model Aircraft Club (see
club scene).
On the
left is Dominic Mitchell's bi-plane which he purchased second-hand. It
has a 44-inch wingspan. On the right is a beautifully finished Sukhoi
belonging to 'Peter' and which has only recently been finished.

Bob
Nicol sent me these great pictures of KEITH POULTON'S beautiful Druine
Turbulent. Keith
turned up at the High Peak MAC field with it one week after judging had
taken place for the Best Model in Club trophy - surely a potential
winner! Keith's
model is powered by an APC 150 twin and has slats in the wing -
as on the full size - to increase lift and eliminate tip stalling.
Lovely cockpit detail, too! |

Send ModelFlight a picture of your aero model
Large or small, kit, scratch built or ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing,
electric, rubber, i/c or gas turbine, r/c or free flight, it matters not - and they
don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!
Just use the e-mail facility at the foot of any ModelFlight
page or send
details and pictures by regular mail.
