THIS is the page for
aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at
a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!
If you're not into digital photography or
scanning pictures, why not send some photos by regular mail? It's not too
pricey; a batch of five or
six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My address is on
the home
page. |

Jim Slaughter displays his Zagi
400X, turned out in the Horten III colour scheme. Jim made a slight
modification from the stock kit by adding Coreplast winglets in place of
what he describes as 'the flimsy Lexan ones the manufacturers give you'.
This model flies great, and attracts lots of comments at the field. Meet
Jim on personal profiles. |

From the 'Electrics'
page comes this picture of Carl Schrader with his Soar Star, and,
on the right, a delightful collection of models from Barbara Kruger's
'Old Timers' page, with just a glimpse of the rather nice field hut in
the background.

Grapher's latest bit of
model plane construction - a very nice Twinjet

You can see some very
different handiwork of Grapher's on hotchpotch

Some
great pictures from Bob Nicol |
| Paul
Carr with his new Glens Models 30%
Cap.
The model is powered by a 65cc petrol
engine. It is fitted out with two coreless digital servos on the
elevator, one on each wing, two on the rudder and another on the
throttle.
Some of you may have seen Paul fly
this at the BMFA Nationals 2001 at Barkston Heath (UK) in August.
Paul belongs to High
Peak Model Aero Club, UK. and is now the demonstration flyer
for Glen of Glens Models - congratulations, Paul.

JB Model Flying Club
Opening Day
The Inaugural Flight! |
|

|
First in the air on
opening day was Kerry Watts with his Raptor 30. Kerry has
been flying for just a matter of months, and is still concentrating on
his hovering skills.
Standing by was Kerry's friend Karen
Howard and Jack the dog. |

The full range of JB
Aviation models was on the flight line.
Front to back, the Tiger Moth,
Merlin, Mini-Sport, ATS Kite and ATS Sport |
|

John Simpson pores over the
Futaba manual as he sets up the Merlin, whilst in the background Bob
Neville makes the Kite ready for flight. |

Introduced by Ian Savage, this
is Dominic Mitchell
Dominic
is pictured here with his little Biplane (Pitts type) - very
fast, apparently, but Dominic can handle it well. His other plane is a
Kyosho Cap 232.
Ian is Hon. Sec. of the Fleet
and District Model Aircraft Club and describes Dominic as their Web
Monkey (that's a new term to me!). Dominic has just put up a fantastic
new website for the club which I'm going to to feature on the next
issue of Modelflight. It's one of the most ambitious I've seen - and I've seen a
good few now! |
Send ModelFlight a picture of your aero model
Large or small, kit, scratch built or ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing,
electric, rubber, i/c or gas turbine, r/c or free flight, it matters not - and they
don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!
Just use the e-mail facility at the foot of any ModelFlight
page or send
details and pictures by regular mail.
