THIS is the page for aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!

If you're not into digital photography or scanning pictures, why not send some photos by regular mail?  It's not too pricey; a batch of five or six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My address is on home page.

This very nicely finished AcroWot belongs to MARK CUHACI who has recently made contact for the first time. The plane was built during the Spring of this year and is flown at Maidenhead. (Nice cockpit detail; I especially like those recessed dials.) It is powered by an OS 61FX, Futaba radio on PCM. Mark is now looking for ideas for patterns to complete his Smart Move by Dave Smith Models.

Pictures from members of Irene Model Fliers, South Africa

Danie Brynard's Giles

These pictures are taken from the Irene Model Fliers web site archive page. The float plane shot here and the one of Jan Roestorf's Bernardt on our opening screen were taken by Peter Morey who is always willing to photograph members' models.

pitspanorama.jpg (37685 bytes)I was delighted to receive this nice portfolio of pictures from Bob Nicol of High Peak Model Aero Club, UK. The panoramic view of the pits shows a good turn out for a late October weekend.

Bobandy with conquest.jpg (42996 bytes)

Andy Hibbert with his Conquest - Bob thinks it's the Conquest, but Andy has so many helicopters it's almost impossible to keep up with him! Good to see sheep out on the hills after the devastation of foot and mouth disease.

This is Bob Castle's Waco. Built from an old plan Bob bought at a swap meet, it is powered by an Irvine 60. Bob is a superb and prolific builder and even manages to repair and build for the Club's juniors.

bobcastle mustang.jpg (33704 bytes)

Bob Castle's version of the Miss America Mustang, scaled down by 50% from one of Bob Nicol's models to accommodate an Irvine 40.

Extra Wot belonging to Colin Revel, powered by a Laser 150.

bobsacrowt.jpg (32587 bytes)

Bob Nicol's Acrowot, powered by an OS 91 FX, giving great power to weight ratio.

Bob Nicol's Hangar 9 Cap, built to 1/4 scale, powered by an OS 160, coreless digital servos all round, done out in the Ferrari colour scheme.

CRASH CORNER - JUST FOR FUN!

Although, unfortunately, I could have put my Tiger Sport up here, I certainly don't want to hog this spot(!), so in the interests of balanced reporting and by way of consolation, I'm showing this beautiful P40 Warhawk which belongs to 'Pete' from Irene Radio Flyers, the South African club featured on club scene. Hard luck, Pete!

Send ModelFlight a picture of your aero model

Large or small, kit, scratch built or ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing, electric, rubber, i/c or gas turbine, r/c or free flight, it matters not - and they don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!

Just use the e-mail facility at the foot of any ModelFlight page or send details and pictures by regular mail.
