It's true! It would be good to meet YOU on this personal profile page, so please join the fun and send some details of yourself, your family, modelling and other interests and anything else you care to tell us about, and let's get to know you!

You can either e-mail your information from the post-box at the foot of this page or use the Response Form below - and if you've got a picture of yourself, so much the better!

Introducing Dave (Taffy) Jones

Dave lives in Manchester and works as a Support consultant for a software house. He is married to Mary and they have one son, Tom, aged 9. Dave is going on 30 and has always had an avid interest in aviation. This, he thinks, he can attribute to his father who was in the RAF during the last war. Dave has recently started a second site in memory of his father's old Squadron, 613 ' City of Manchester ' Squadron, the address is http://www.geocities.com/hemac2002

This guy is a self-confessed computer addict and admits to spending more time in front of a VDU than is strictly healthy! Part of his addiction means he is also something of a Palm hand-held computer freak for which he has written a model flight application. The program allows you to store all information relative to your hobby in one place and can record details of all your engines, airframes, modelling contacts and flight details. The software is available as freeware and can be down-loaded from Dave's web site (see next paragraph).

Dave has been a member of his local modelling club, Hough End Model Aircraft Club (HEMAC), for the past 15 or so years. He is currently Assistant Secretary of the club and in the past has held the posts of Secretary, Newsletter Editor, Webmaster and fund raiser. He runs a web site which is primarily dedicated to HEMAC along with other interesting content and which will be featured on the next issue of ModelFlight. Dave generally likes to fly sport model aircraft and currently has a Cambrian Kits ME109, a Panic, a Bill Kits Big Fun and his all-time favourite, a Wot 4.

Join in the fun, send ModelFlight an e-mail and tell us about yourself, your family, hobbies and interests, what you do for a living, how long you've been model-making, what club you belong to, etc. - in fact as much or as little as you see fit. Include a picture of yourself if you can.

Your e-mail address will be shown unless you specifically ask for it not to appear. Picture files ideally need to be in JPG format for best colour reproduction and to minimise time on-line.

If you want to send me pictures by conventional mail, my address is

Reg Heath, 60 South View Gardens, Andover, Hants, SP10 2AQ, UK
