Hi friends,

I know it always brings a smile to the faces of you guys in the Southern Hemisphere, but very soon now all the modelling magazines in the other half of the globe will be talking about the 'the building season', as the chances of getting much flying in are expected to reduce as we move into winter.

All the same, it is true that for some of us the winter months do present a great opportunity to undertake and enjoy a nice little building project to while away the cold, wet weekends and the dark evenings - you'll all be in tears in a minute!

If you do get going on a project - scratch-built, kit or ARTF - do think about letting it run on our 'work in progress' page. Even if you don't document every stage, an occasional progress report with a picture or two is always interesting and to have several on the go at once makes for a nice bit of variety! There's one special project which featured on 'wip' that I'm not allowed to mention but that a lot of us are waiting to see finished and test flown - we're still waiting, Chris!

Regards to all,
