Introducing

Roland Stiborek

from Vienna, Austria

Roland is 43 years old, married to Brigitte and lives in Vienna. He has two sons, Thomas (18) and Christian (15), both of whom also fly model planes. They fly with MFC-Phoenix model flying club, having started their interest in the hobby some four years ago.

Between them, they have an impressive 24 models (although some have yet to be built), including two helicopters flown by Christian (an Eco 8 electric and a Raptor 30). 

At the moment, Roland likes to flies his Ariane powered glider (left) and Capriolo trainer most of the time and wants to specialise on gliding. His next project is an ASH26 glider from Multiplex.

Both Thomas and Christian are keen to specialise on acrobatic flying. Their machines are a SU31, Raven, right (a small pre-build of a F3A plane), Super Stearman (Dobbledecker), Dragon Lady (acrobatic flyer), Mini-viper (electric glider) and a Thunder Tiger delta wing.
