If YOU have a personal web site of model flight interest for us to enjoy or have come across one that you found of particular value or interest (including commercial sites), then please let me have the URL and we can feature it here. There's so much good stuff out there, but it's so easy to miss it!

This is a nice, straightforward site from a company specialising in the supply of high-quality kits, planes and plan packs all designed specifically for electric flight.

On offer is a range of kits at extremely economic prices plus all the required accessories.

When Graham McAllister first started to manufacture and retail kits in 1977, he recognised the fact that many folk were struggling to buy the necessary motors, props, gear boxes, and speed controllers required for electric flight. As a result, he conceived his Power Pack scheme, offering a complete package of all these essentials for each of his kits and plan packs. Individual elements of the pack are also available and full details of all essential and optional accessories are on the site.

A good example from Graham's range is the SkyBug, a delightful little Park Flyer for which the Plan Pack is just £21.95 plus post and packing (US$40, including air mail delivery!). The Plan Pack consists of the ready-cut wing (no covering needed), ready-cut Depron foam sheet tail surfaces, control snake inner and outer, wing strut wire, wheels (recently up-graded), wing reinforcing tape and accurate full-size plans and step-by-step instructions. You supply the wood and fittings for the simple 'pod and boom' fuselage, cover the fuselage and fit your radio gear. The direct drive Power Pack for the SkyBug costs just about £50 and a further £15 will step you up to the geared option. SkyBug has a 41" wingspan, weighs in at 20oz and is suitable for take off from short grass, paths or hand launch in the smallest of fields.

Also on the site is a nice gallery of customers' models and the promise of a friendly individual service direct from the designer himself! Graham's site is not an e-commerce one, ordering is by mail.
