THIS is the page for
aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at
a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!
If you're not into digital photography or
scanning pictures, why not send some photos by regular mail? It's not too
pricey; a batch of five or
six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My address is on
home
page. |

Not
a model, but one of Carlos A Garcia's latest fine Profile paintings. This is
one of four Spitfires which were given to the RAF by the British
community in Argentina during WWII. Note that the drawing is copyright
Carlos A Garcia, but I know he will not object if you want to use it on
your desktop. |

Seventeen-year-old Dan Nygård
from Flora, in Norway, was profiled on #39. Dan has now sent these
pictures of his Ready-on-Floats, and very smart indeed she looks,
I must say. Dan flies his Ready on the sea in Norway, he says, and it is
powered by an MDS ·48 and he uses a Hitec 5x transmitter.

| Craig
Trickett mentioned that there were some new pictures on the St John's
R/C Model Flyers' website, so I winkled out a few samples from their
2001 events: |

 This
model (the glider, of course!) is Tony Baker's repaired and
renewed all-glass Astir CS-77 from 1978 and looking as good as
new.
The lovely girl is model Tracy Clark
from Kimpton, near Andover, UK. That's where I live - I wonder if I
might bump into her in Tesco's?
Tony is a member of Southampton
Soaring Society which was featured on club
scene #37 - he's also a professional photographer and writer of the Glider
Guider column in RCM&E. |
| These superb
scale models are the workmanship of Dean, whose personal web site
is featured on site seeing |
