of Design and Marketing at Flair Products, has just sent me this press
release about their new Stearman:
We have been talking about our new Stearman for some
time and have now completed the prototype. It will be flown shortly but
please come and see it at Sandown, June 2nd and 3rd and have a chat
about it.
Briefly it is 89" span, (same as the Tiger Moth),
and will be suited to 150+ 4 strokes. The kit will be in the Classic
Scale series and will include a fully sprung and damped undercarriage,
wheels, a dummy engine, fibre glass mouldings for the forward fuselage
and dummy engine crankcase, flying wires, closed loop rudder control
etc.
We shall be releasing the kits in August assuming the
flight characteristics are good; if not we shall do suitable mods and
retest.

certainly looks a beauty - I wonder who's going to be the first ModelFlighter
