| THIS is the page for
aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at
a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!
If you're not into digital photography or
scanning pictures, why not send me some photos by regular mail? It's not too
pricey; a batch of five or
six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My home address is on the home
page. |

| Carl Layden from Newfoundland,
Canada, sent these pictures of his Cap, commenting :
"Unfortunately the latest picture
of my Cap isn't very good (RIPieces)! Here's a couple of shots from
January 1st and one to show what happens when you take off with the
wrong model memory programmed in your transmitter. D'oH!

Commiserations, Carl! But
CONGRATULATIONS are also in order, because I hear from Craig (Trickett)
that you were one of the runners-up in Model Airplane News recent
design contest with your Cap 10b. Tell and show us more, please!
But just look at that snow - how you
manage to fly a white plane in a sky like that amazes me!
Carl's contact gives me the
opportunity of apologising for mis-spelling his surname when he appeared
on two earlier issues of ModelFlight. Carl is President of the
Atlantic Zone of the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada and a
member of St John's R/C Flyers.

In-flight shots are singularly
difficult to take, but I agree with Geoff Graham that these two
pictures do convey the "delicious sense of winter flying on those
occasional, super sunny days". Geoff's bungalow is just out of shot,
showing the convenience of flying civilized, quiet electric models! Geoff
flies from a 17-acre meadow, taking his Junior 60 out over the
fields away from the village and not over the dwellings - remember, safety
first, he says! |
| There's a note on the post box
page from EDDY CLISSON from Belgium requesting a link to the website of
his club, PAMPA MODELFIGHTERS. I was very happy to oblige, of course.
Pampa Modelfighters are the home of a jet meeting known as Jets
over Pampa which is well-known in Europe. Here are a few pictures of
some of the magnificent models from last year's event. The 2001 meeting
is to be held 28/29 April.

| Finally, here is a selection of shots of
models belonging to members of the 495th R/C Squadron model
flying club which is featured on the club scene
page. Judging by the file names, they belong to Art, Dave, Roy and
Art respectively!
And here's Rupert Kosmala's unique HA-1 that
is also mentioned on the 495th club item. You can find out more
about this plane on Rupert's website at http://home.attbi.com/~varkos/HA-1/index.html

Send us a picture of your aero model
Large or small, kit, scratch built or ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing,
it matters not - and they
don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!
Just use the e-mail facility at the foot of any ModelFlight
page or send
details and pictures by regular mail.
