THIS is the page for aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!

If you're not into digital photography or scanning pictures, why not send me some photos by regular mail?  It's not too pricey; a batch of five or six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My home address is on the home page.

geoff's jnr 60.jpg (36222 bytes) These are GEOFF GRAHAM'S very attractive models - his Junior 60 above, and his full squadron below - the T180, J3 Cub and the Junior 60 again. You can meet Geoff on the personal profiles page.

Geoff says, "I must tell you that I have had to make myself send this stuff to you as my age and 'old fashioned' constraint tell me that it is a bit immodest to show off one's own creations. I have, however, learned to make the decals using my PC and Corel Draw and could maybe help folk who want to do that, but haven't tried it. I could perhaps also furnish the dimensions for the CoG rig (see the post box page) if anyone thinks it is even remotely useful to them. Currently I am working on trying to use slide-off transfers made up on my PC and inkjet printer". [I now have details of Geoff's CoG rig and it will be featured on ModelFlight #27.]

Decal-making always seems to prove interesting, so, Geoff, I would love to have details of your system..

Here are three of JOE HOWARD'S magnificent model helicopters. Joe is one half of Cyberheli, which you can read about on the site-seeing page. It's well worth a look and could save you lotsa money!

sabre rcezine jan 2001.jpg (38133 bytes)This is the winning photograph in the RCezine competition I told you about on #25. It appears on their January 2001 'cover' page and it comes from a nice chap who calls himself 'Sabre' on the net, from Malta; the model is a Phantom A4. Sabre's prize was to have his picture on the cover of the January 2001 issue, plus vouchers worth US$25 to spend with one of their sponsors. See more pictures and details of this superb model on the special 'models in the making' page on this issue.

There's a permanent link to RCezine on the Magazines & Publications links page, and they have kindly offered to put a link to ModelFlight on their site.

We had a lovely afternoon's flying at the Club on January 6th - here's a few of the models on the field.
petes cub.jpg (27254 bytes) PETE WELLS' delightful Graupner Cub - originally electric, but Pete has fitted a ·25 2-stroke although he thinks it might be a bit over-powered now.
PAUL COOK with his own-design electric plane - he flies it beautifully and it packs away into a neat little box he's made for it to take with him whilst he's at University. Wingspan around 31", weight 15 oz, Speed 400 6V motor, 6 x 950 mAh cells. Pauls electric.jpg (15607 bytes)
mini jazz.jpg (28820 bytes) This is PAUL COOK'S Mini-Jazz built from an RCM&E plan. 33" wingspan, OS35 FP 2-stroke engine. Paul can fly this v-e-r-y slow and just inches off the ground - inverted if you like! inverted jazz.jpg (9480 bytes)

PETE BANNON from California, USA, sent me these pictures of his latest creation - a  60-size Sukhoi SU-29 by Modeltech. It is powered by a pumped K&B 1.00 cu 2-stroke engine and looks very nicely finished. Welcome, Pete, great to hear from you. Pete will be 'profiled' on the next ModelFlight.
