| THIS is the page for
aero-model pictures - your own, or others you've seen at the club or at
a show; they are all welcome if they're nice to look at!
If you're not into digital photography or
scanning pictures, why not send me some photos by regular mail? It's not too
pricey; a batch of five or
six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My home address is on the home
page. |

An interesting composite shot of DERICK
VELIZ'S new plane; Derick comes from Acton, Massachusetts, USA, and gave
us a great article on aerial photography on #23 |
 |
it's the Zlin Speed 400, an ARF from NSP.
The model has a 39½ inch wingspan, a thinned SD3021 airfoil
(first time anyone has given that bit of technical detail), driven by a
Speed 400 7·2 v motor spinning a 6·5 x 5 prop and powered by 10 cells
500 mAh giving 5 - 6 minutes flying time; Derick says, "this little
one rocks - very fast". |
| This little collection of
shots are from AIDEN DUFFY and are reproduced from his website which I
have featured on the site seeing page.
At the top, someone quite small on something rather big!
Next down, a smartly finished Easy Street, then a nice, low shot of
DAVID MATTHEWS' F/A 18A Hornet and finally a couple of F1 competition helicopters.
David's Yellow Aircraft Hornet was featured on the
front cover of RCM&E, November 2000 issue. It is powered by
two RAM 750 F turbines, weighs 19·5kg and flies for 7 minutes on 4
litres of fuel. The scale undercarriage is manufactured by Yellow
aircraft and cost $800.
Read a bit about Aiden and his website on the site
seeing page. |

This shot is of the finalists in the
year 2000 Tournament of Champions.
I have taken the picture from the RCezine
website which is featured on the site seeing
page - I couldn't see any copyright restrictions and I have given the
new magazine a bit of publicity, so it seems fair to me! |
Send us a picture of your aero model
Large or small, kit, scratch built or ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing,
it matters not - and they
don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!
Just use the e-mail facility at the foot of any ModelFlight
page or send
details and pictures by regular mail.
