If your national flag isn't shown, it's because you haven't written to ModelFlight yet . . . !

NORM KIRTON wrote from Australia

Hi Reg,

. . . I haven't managed to get around to doing a personal profile yet, but I did go flying FA1 pylon at the weekend and happened to take along my digital camera and so I am sending a couple of pics of my Stilleto FA1 racer [on the photo gallery page].

More interestingly was being involved in the test flight of a new turbine-powered model powered by a brand-new West Australian designed and built turbine. This new turbine is really impressive, and already has an International order for 160 units as well as local fliers.

I asked the designer/manager for permission to release details to you and he has sent along a release sheet which I have modified to reflect international contact numbers, etc.

I hope you will use this as you could be the first to publish (although you may not be the first in Australia as the release has just been submitted to Airborne).

You have the manufacturer's full permission to release the article plus my photos.

I am only too happy to at last be able to contribute something to your interesting venture.

Thanks a million, Norm . . . and maybe a personal profile some time later . . . ?

I was 'right chuffed' to receive Norm's material and am really pleased to bring news of this spectacular new product to you on the air space page. There are also shots of Norm's Stilleto and the jet on the photo gallery page.

Thanks to Bob Nicol, of course!

Actually, mine's not hanging from the ceiling, but it is on the floor in the bedroom at the moment whilst my grandson has been using my den for his bedroom!

A nice pat on the back from TORE LOODIN:

Thank you for the nice #20 edition of ModelFlight. This site in fact is the best I have ever seen. It has a nice tune and a fine layout, unique for the model sites. May it live for ever!

Thank you very much, Tore - much appreciated and a great encouragement!

. . . and Matt was pleased, too!

Just writing to thank you for putting my details up on your site. It looks very good and I was wondering if you have had any mail relating to this.
Your link will be added to my site at the weekend. I congratulate you on your site, it is a very good idea, and very professionally presented. Well done!

Nice of you to write, Matt, and thanks for the link. No one has written, but I hope you might get a few extra visitors to your website.

There's a permanent link to Matt's site on the links page - it's great and well worth a visit.
