friends,
First
of all, I'm proud to have become a grandfather for the fifth time! If
you want to know more, I've updated my read
all about it! page accordingly.
We seem to
be a bit starved on news and pictures from helicopter modellers, and I would
certainly love to have more heli material on the site, so if Rob and Hendo and
Marc and John (and any other heli fans) are reading this, here's hoping . . .
For that
matter, it would be great to hear from enthusiasts involved in other branches of
the model flight hobby, but I get the feeling that free-flighters, gliders,
soarers and control liners seem to prefer something more dedicated to their own
discipline. All the same, I would love to be proved wrong, and material on those
subjects - even if only to introduce the subject to those of us not familiar
with them - would certainly be most welcome. For instance, I'm intrigued as to
the various methods used for launching gliders, control line flying is a
complete mystery to me, and just what are all these different categories of
competition flying about (Richard?)?
