Hi friends,

As you can see, I've given the site a slight make-over. It's still designed for easy navigation from any page to any page and the content remains the same, but I've just changed the style a bit - hope you like it! Please let me know what you think - especially if you have any difficulty with the new design, particularly type faces and sizes. Don't forget, though, you can change text sizes from most browsers - in Internet Explorer for example, click the View menu, then Text Size and then select from the options for larger or smaller sizes.

I don't know why, but I always find it a special pleasure when I can add another national flag to my post-box page banner, so I was really pleased to hear from Alvaro Riascos from Colombia. Like Enrico from the Phillipines, whom we met on #14, he has to pursue his hobby very much on his own. You can meet Alvaro on both the post-box and personal profiles pages.

Since there has been very little indication of interest in the subject, I have decided to drop the FlightSim page as from this issue. Obviously, anything to do with model flight simulators remains of very real interest and will continue to be part of ModelFlight, and since the mainstream flight simulator programs continue to be an interest of mine, there's always the chance that something about them might still pop up from time to time!

On ModelFlight #13, I launched my new 'site seeing' page as an occasional alternative to the 'club scene' page, but I will now try to include both these items regularly. The 'site seeing' page will feature websites of model flight interest, whether commercial or private, and I will be very happy to feature your personal website if you let me have the URL. The 'club scene' page features individual model flying clubs which might be your club or another that I come across. Clubs featured do not have to have a website - I just need some interesting information about them as suggested on the page, but if they do have a website, then I can also make a virtual visit.

Regards to all,

If you are not already receiving a reminder each time ModelFlight is updated every two weeks but would like to do so, please click on the post-box and send me an e-mail simply saying "reminder" and I will gladly add you to my e-mailing list.
