| THIS is the page for your
aero-model pictures.
If you're not into digital photography or
scanning pictures, you can always send photos by regular mail - it's not too
pricey; a batch of five or
six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My home address is on the home
page. |

Bob Nicol has been busy with his digital camera
recently and sent me a nice batch of pictures. Bob's club, High Peak
Model Aero Club, recently had some overseas visitors spend the day with
them between Large Modellers Association meetings at Cosford and the
Isle of Man, so we'll put the visitors' shots up first.

These pictures are thumbnails, click on
them for a slightly enlarged view. Left to right we have a 1/4 scale Cub
powered by a flat twin, a fun Spitfire from Norway, an unidentified
model from Holland that looks like a Stinson Reliant - could it be the 1/5 scale Top Flite
model, perhaps? - an Acrowot from Norway and then its owner, Mr Reider.
Always referred to as Radar, this gent took his BMFA 'A' certificate
whilst he was with the High Peak lads. If you see this, Radar,
congratulations - I'd be delighted if you get in touch and introduce
yourself to us on ModelFlight! There will be another interesting
item from one of the visitors next time, by the way.
Bob's portfolio also included these shots of High Peak members' models:

Here we have Bob's Cap 232 with a 91 up
front, Carl's scratch-built Edge 540 with a Saito 180 and Peter
Johnson's 1/4 scale Acromaster with 35cc Zenoa. I hear there are a
couple of secret projects afoot as well which we can look forward to
seeing later. |

Thanks as always, Bob, for the
nice pics - keep 'em coming!

| New on the Test Valley Flying Club
field this last weekend, August 5/6, was this smart Thunder Tiger
Trainer belonging to Alistair Turner. The model is fitted with a .40
Irvine two-stroke and, although not visible on the pic, TermLine's HAL
2100 Horizontal Auto Levelling system - very interesting.
Al
has just returned to r/c flying after three year's absence, but seemed
to be back in the swing of things in no time at all. Click the thumbnail
for the larger view.

Now let's enjoy a sight of your favourite aero model
- large or small, kit or scratch built, ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing - and they
don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!
Just use the e-mail facility at the top of any ModelFlight page or send
details and pictures by regular mail.
