ts1.jpg (40516 bytes)I'm afraid that in the limited time that I had available for this update I have not found anything to really catch my eye on the flightsim front, but I just have to tell you that Microsoft have announced a TRAIN SIMULATOR! It is being developed in conjunction with UK-based Kuju ts2.jpg (40869 bytes)Entertainment and is due for release in Spring 2001. Here's the release on the program and a screen shot or two from the development version. I won't be featuring it on ModelFlight, but I thought I'd mention it just for fun!

"MICROSOFT TRAIN SIMULATOR brings the power and ts3.jpg (37319 bytes)excitement of some of the world's most famous trains to your PC, placing you in the role of engineer or passenger with unprecedented realism, exciting real-world rail challenges, and the tools to recreate almost any railroad experience in the world."

ModelFlight is keen to hear from you if you have any contributions to make on the subject of flight simulation - whether the mainstream 'games' or the dedicated r/c model versions. My favourite sim remains FS2000, hence the fact that it features so much on this page, but it would be really good to have items on some of the others.
