THIS is the page for your aero-model pictures.

If you're not into digital photography or scanning pictures, you can always send photos by regular mail - it's not too pricey; a batch of five or six photos costs $1.00 airmail postage from the USA, for example. My home address is on the home page.

Last time, I was asking if anybody had any pics from the recent Wings & Wheels Model Spectacular at North Wield airfield and RICHARD CRAPP has come up trumps with these nice shots. Have a drool over these beautiful large-scale B-17 models of which I have no details other than recalling that they were of 14-feet wingspan!

Many thanks, Richard, and all the best in the International Championships in Switzerland next month.

bobs_cap cropped.jpg (43149 bytes)This is BOB NICOL's new VMAR CAP 232 which he mentions in his letter on the post-box page. The model has a 64 ins wingspan and is 57 ins long. It is a 4-channel machine suitable for ·51 to ·90 two-stroke or ·65 to ·91 four-stroke engines, according to MacGregor's information on the kit.
sleepy head.jpg (41501 bytes)Now, back on ModelFlight #10, PAUL CARR revealed that he had two loves in his life - his model planes and his car! Fair enough, but I didn't realise that he actually slept with his plane, but here's a picture that Bob Nicol sent that proves it!

That heavily foam protected model stand and tail restraint looks a good idea, Paul. Any details worth passing on?

Both images are thumbnails; click on them for crisper, larger versions.

Now let's enjoy a sight of your favourite aero model - large or small, kit or scratch built, ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing - and they don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!

Just use the e-mail facility at the top of any ModelFlight page or send details and pictures by regular mail.
