Home PageGreetings all,I've put another piece of aviation artwork on the air space page which some of you might like to use as a wallpaper image on your desktop - it comes by courtesy of the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund Enterprises and is reproduced from the front cover of their book Brace by Wire to Fly-by-Wire which was produced to celebrate 80 years of the Royal Air Force 1918 - 1998. I told you about my first crash with my trainer on ModelFlight #12 - I'm glad to report she's airborne again and flying very well! As you know, I feature model flying clubs on the 'club scene' page, either from details of your club which you may send me and/or by visiting the club web site. As a variation on that idea, I am now launching a 'site-seeing' page to appear occasionally as an alternative to 'club scene'. The page will feature a website of general model flying interest - it might be a commercial page (but still totally unsponsored, I assure you) or a purely personal site put out by an enthusiast - which means it could be YOUR site. If you have a website that fits the bill and would like it to appear on ModelFlight, then let me have your URL and I'll take a look. Please let me know if you like the new page. My thanks to those of you who have asked to receive my brief reminder each time the site is updated and also to all of you who 'belong' to ModelFlight by your regular visits - your interest and participation is much appreciated. Happy landings, |
