| I was delighted to hear again from TOMMY YATES of
Alabama, USA when he sent me these pictures of his TF Spitfire.
The model is fitted out with an OS 90 Surpass 4-stroke, Robart HD
retracts and flaps. It took Tommy 3 months to build and finish. It is
glassed and painted with Chevron Perfect Paints with ModelMaster
accents. Right now, it awaits an appropriate pilot and should be flown
around the end of June. Tommy is entering it in a warbird meet later
this month. |

Here's
MICHAEL HENRIKSON'S electric SE5A indoor/park flyer.
Construction from blue foam and balsa. Mabuchi 050 motor and home-made
6:1 gearbox. Michael says the set-up is a bit heavier than with the DC
motor but wingloading is still comfortably low; flight trials have yet
to take place, but he considers it should do well on 6x50 or 6x120 mah
cells. Model and insignia are painted with Humbrol Acrylics - very light
and highly recommended by Michael.
60cm/24" wingspan; 55cm/21·5" length;
120grams/4·2oz; Jeti 4-channel receiver. |
This
is ROGER FORGUES' Giles 300. It has a 75"
wingspan and is powered by a BME 2·7 gas engine. Meet Roger on the personal
profiles page. |
Now let's enjoy a sight of your favourite aero model
- large or small, kit or scratch built, ARTF, rotary or fixed-wing - and they
don't have to be perfect, either. If you like it, let's see it!
Just use the e-mail facility at the top of any ModelFlight page or send
details and pictures by regular mail.
