Home PageHi Friends,Those of you who visited ModelFlight #10 will be aware of the little problem I ran into with announcing this site on the newsgroups. I had determined not to let the matter take up any more space here, but I simply cannot let the matter rest before thanking so many of you who took the trouble to write to me in support, which I have very much appreciated. I could publish an A-Z of naughty words that you used to describe my protagonist (well, not quite - it started with the B's and ended with the W's), but I won't! Because I was threatened with being reported to Freeserve for breaching newsgroup etiquette by "advertising" my site, I gave the full facts with copies of all relevant e-mails and newsgroup communications to the Freeserve abuse department myself and asked them to give me their view. From what has been said to me in reply, I can conclude that the totally non-commercial nature of my site, backed up by the support received from newsgroup users themselves, means that the use I have made of the newsgroups is perfectly acceptable. Once again, then, thank you for your individual support and for your continued interest and involvement in ModelFlight - it seems even more like a friendly club now!
