 | THIS is the page to show off your favourite model pictures -
models you own
and fly or something special you might have seen on the club field or at a show, perhaps.
Click on the post-box and e-mail me with your pictures and any
interesting details.

 | Picture files are best sent as JPEGs (.jpg) to save transmission and
downloading time. If you cannot send picture files over the Internet, send your photographs by regular
mail. My home address is now at the foot of the home

about the quality of these small images - they are only the link to

| STEVEN BOLIN mailed me these shots of his
large-scale Mustang which he has completed in the last couple of
weeks - it was mentioned in his post-box contribution in ModelFlight
#9. You can meet Steven on the personal profile page. |
 |
| It took Steven 1 year and 5 months to
build this magnificent model; it is built to a 1/5th scale, has an
84.5" wingspan and weighs 21 lbs. Powered by U.S. Engines 40, 3 h.p.
engine, flaps, retracts, steering and retractable tailwheel, full
cockpit.Non-r/c flyers who have seen
these pictures or the actual model on Steven's drive just can't believe what
they're seeing! Note the anchor man in the central picture - Steven's
got the engine running (I wonder what the neighbours think about that!). |
Here are a couple of shots
of BOB NICOL and his very smart Mustang, which he flies at
the High Peak Model Aero Club featured on the clubscene
page. The model is a Jamara ·60 size, but this one is powered by an OS
91Fx which, Bob says, makes for a real good power-to-weight ratio. |
 |
On
the right, a Typhoon, scratch-built by Bob's mate DENNIS
RICHARDSON. No technical details, but this is a large model with
retracts and looking good. I do know, though, that this model won the
trophy for Best Model in the Club in 1999. |
Here's
another picture from the High Peak modellers. We had a look at PAUL
CARR'S CAP 232 in ModelFlight #9 but Paul wanted us to
see his two main pleasures in life - planes and cars! |
.
. . and finally from High Peak, KEITH POULTON'S impressive
1/4-scale Miles
Majestic, with Keith inset just to take a bow! Bob Nicol sent
me this picture and says the model is one to be seen close up to really
appreciate it, so click the little pic and see for yourself. |
You can meet RICHARD STREET on the personal
profile page; here's his finished Kyosho Concept 32VR Heli,
OS32SX-H, Hatori tuned muffler and, just
for his Dad's benefit, a shot of his glider which Richard
occasionally helps him rig up at Portmoak Gliding Club. Dad is also a
keen model flyer, although Richard won't let him near his heli! |

Now let's enjoy a sight of your favourite aero model
- just use the e-mail facility at the top of any ModelFlight page or send
details and pictures by regular mail.
