Here's an item or two from the latest catalogues  - not  necessarily all new products on the market, but items large and small that will be of interest.
If you contact any of these suppliers as a result of reading this page, please be sure to mention ModelFlight.

I rather like the look of this Balsalcraft flight box distributed to the model shops through Ripmax at a recommended price of just £17.99. Made from ready-to-paint MDF, it is supplied in kit form in an interlocking design that makes for quick and accurate assembly. The transmitter tray keeps your radio safe and allows the transmitter controls to be operated during starting and pre-flight checks - that's nice. The large drawer for tools, etc., is designed not to fall out if carried at an angle.

FLAIR PRODUCTS' NICAD CYCLER really sounds good and will perfectly suit the recommendations for NiCad care given in the article on the plane talk page. It provides optional battery pack discharge to a safe minimum level prior to recharge. It is designed as a combo unit for 9.6V transmitters and 4.8V receiver batteries; green LEDs indicate that the two circuits are connected and charging. This is the normal state when first connected.

To discharge prior to recharge, the user simply presses the button on the front of the unit and this illuminates the two red LEDs. The cycler automatically switches to charge following discharge and lights the green LEDs.

NOTE: Because the cycler discharges as well as charges, the diode in the charging circuit of many transmitters needs to be by-passed with a short length of wire and Flair Products assure us this is a simple job. If you're not sure about doing this, the simpler answer is just to disconnect your battery from your transmitter before carrying out the discharge/recharge cycle (although repeated disconnection of your battery might be a bit unkind on the lead and connector).

Two variants of the unit are available, standard and high rate:
standard unit - cat. number FL5023, cost £26.95
charge rate 120 mA; discharge rate 250 mA; Rx and Tx
high rate unit - cat. number FL5024, cost £26.95
charge rate 120 mA; discharge rate 500 mA; Rx
charge rate 50 mA; discharge rate 250 mA; Tx

The greater currents for the high rate unit enables larger capacity receiver batteries, such as are often fitted in helicopters, to be charged whilst still providing an overnight service of both Tx and Rx batteries. It can still be used for smaller capacity Rx batteries, of course, but the cycle time will be shorter.

The units plug into standard 240 V mains sockets.

If not available from your model shop, Flair Products will supply direct. Use cat. number and brief description of the unit when ordering. Pay by cheque (payable to "Flair Products Ltd."), postal order or credit card and add a sensible addition for carriage costs.
