 | THIS feature, launched in ModelFlight #4,
is where you can tell us all about
your own model flying club. E-mail me with some idea of the sort of facilities
you have, size of membership, flying rules, subscription rates, training facilities, types of model
flown, social activities, site availability, guest arrangements,
frequency of meetings, location, or anything else you can think to
mention. Pictures will also be most welcome, and if you want to send me
pictures by conventional post, my address now appears on the home
page. |

| I dropped in on the Crawley
and District Model Aircraft Club by visiting their website, and
thought you might like to know a bit about them. |
Crawley
and District Model Aircraft Club, (CADMAC) is a club catering for most
model flying interests - radio-control (particularly silent r/c), free
flight, control line and indoor flying - and is affiliated to the British
Model Flying Association. The club meets at Ifield Community College,
Crawley (East Sussex, UK) every Thursday evening and control line
training is often available.
During the light evenings, flying takes place on the College playing
fields and there is also indoor flying in the School Hall. The playing fields are also available for flying on
Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
The club publishes a newsletter - "Turbulator", and the club
website includes a simple chuck glider plan and a control line speed
calculator - a nice touch - as well as a map showing their location.
The
club secretary is Martin Wallbank who can be contacted on 01403
864322.

| Greetings to CADMAC members -
it would be nice to hear from any of you with something for any of the ModelFlight
pages. |
