WELCOME to ModelFlight
number 4.
There's a new page this issue
which I've called "club scene" where I hope we can visit
various model flying clubs around the world and find out all about them.
We kick off with one of the USA's oldest model flying clubs which sounds
really interesting. Read all about it on the new page and visit their
website where you will find even more fascinating information about the
Valley Forge Signal Seekers
To make the page really work,
though, it will depend on your contribution, so do please e-mail details
of your club and let the rest of us enjoy a virtual visit!
As always, I hope you enjoy what I've put
together for this update. Make it even
better by sending something to me for inclusion - items for the personal profile
and picture gallery pages would be great as well as editorial-type articles. In
fact, every page is open for your contributions - this is a club, not a magazine,
and without your participation it will fail! Please pass on ModelFlight
website address to your modelling friends and invite them to visit.
By the way, ModelFlight 5
will be uploaded on Monday March 27th, a couple of days later than
originally programmed, as I'm going to see my son and his lovely wife,
Lisa, over the previous weekend - she has her name on my
electric-powered glider, for those of you who remember my predilection for
naming my models after my daughters-in-law!
