HERE WE GO with our first personal profile other than the one in which I introduced myself in the last update.

So, it's my pleasure to introduce you to Marc de Douallier from South Africa. Thanks, Marc, for getting in touch, it really is good to hear from you.

My name is Marc, and I live in Johannesburg, South Africa. I am 31 years
old, with a 2 year-old daughter. I spend 9 hours a day as a consultant in
the computer industry to support my hobby. The rest of the time it's working
on any one of my helicopters, or tinkering around with my motorcycle, a
Yamaha YZF 600..

I currently have 3 helicopters, an Xcell Carbon Custom, a Hirobo GPH 346 and
an Xcell 99 SE, which will hopefully be maidened shortly. I have just
completed the engine installation and general setup of the helicopter, and
will complete the canopy within the next couple of hours.
(Marc's e-mail was dated Feb. 18th, so hopefully he's met with success - do let us know, Marc!)

Included, find a couple of pictures of my Xcell Carbon Custom. These were
taken about a month before a very unfortunate accident, where I stalled the
blades coming out of a low level stall turn and had to get a new canopy and
spray job etc........

. . . and you will find Marc's pictures in the picture gallery.

THIS IS THE PLACE WHERE we can get to know one another and share such news as you may wish. Send ModelFlight an e-mail and tell us about yourself, your family, hobbies and interests, what you do for a living, how long you've been model-making, what club you belong to, if any - in fact as much or as little as you see fit. Include a picture of yourself if you wish.

Please note that with effect from the next update on March 11th, your e-mail address will also be shown unless you specifically ask for it not to appear. Picture files ideally need to be in JPG format for best colour reproduction and to ensure that our web browsers support them.
