WELCOME to another update of ModelFlight.
Well, we appear to have taken off and are
now climbing gently! Nearly eight hundred folk have visited the site in the last
two weeks
and it has been exciting to start getting some feedback and contributions from
all over the world. Model-makers, suppliers
and magazine editors have made kind comments about the concept and content of ModelFlight
and there are new items on every page.
On the plane
talk page, there's
an article about a self-built combined model stand and wing balancer which I
hope you will find interesting. O.K., so it's not high-tech, but it really works
and cost next to nothing! There's also something of interest to smokers . . .
Occasionally, in the pages of our model
magazines, we see glimpses of some really fantastic model flying sites that some
of you enjoy, whilst others are being chased off their hallowed turf. E-mail me about where you live and fly, whether club site or your own
little private patch, what sort of amenities you have, etc., and send a picture
or two if you can.
I hope you enjoy what's on the site. Make it even
better by sending something to me for inclusion - items for the personal profile
and picture gallery pages would be great as well as editorial-type articles. In
fact, every page is open for your contributions - this is a club, not a
magazine!
