Eat the chocolates, then eat the box! From Norm Kirton!

Wouldn't it be lovely - or would it?

An original verse by F. Samples

I carry no cell phone to mess up my life,
I don't even want one and ne'er does my wife.
I see them in markets and streets far and near,
Those idiots with one of them jammed in their ear.
I'm sure that most calls mean nothing that's news
Or for information that the caller can use.
And so, even worse, they talk while their driving
W andering out of their lane with no thought of surviving.
They babble and blather with nothing to say,
And do it continually day after day.
I wonder sometimes if old Alex Bell
Would think our society's going to hell.

Oh, I know there are times on some rare occasion
When they're used to report a dire situation
Like a twenty car pile-up on Interstate Ten

Because one moron was phoning again.
But the rest of the time, I've always felt
Devices like these should be clipped to your belt.
Or even better, I think you will find
The best place is the first place that comes to your mind.
